Trail Riding Options
At Sandi Trails, we offer several trail riding options:
Option A--"The Neighborhood Ride" A lovely 1 1/2 hour trail ride around the ultra-private equestrian community of Ranch Colony, Jupiter, FL. Perfect for beginners and children, but fun for more advanced riders as well. Children may be ponied at the discretion of the Trailmaster. Includes brief riding tutorial. $75 per person
Option B--"Nature Preserve Ride" Our most popular ride! Explore historic Florida in the Cypress Creek Nature Preserve near our barn. This trail meanders along lovely wooded pioneer roads and through various wildlife habitats. A wonderful ride for more advanced riders and older children (must be 12 years old, or have prior riding experience). Ride is 2 - 2 1/2hours $150 per person
Option C--"Sandi Trails Safari" Trailer the horses out to one of the fabulous wilderness areas nearby. Jonathan Dickinson State Park, DuPuis Nature Preserve, Atlantic Ridge Park, and Riverbend Park all offer excellent trail riding opportunities. The safari is 3 hours, and box lunch is included. $300 per person
All rides are guided by a professional Trailmaster, and riding tips can be given along the way. Most rides are private and will include only your party. On occasion, others will join, but we try to have a group of similar riders. Rides consist of walking, some trotting, and an occasional canter. The speed of your ride will be at the discretion of the Trailmaster. Trail etiquette dictates that we ride to the ability of the least experienced rider in the group.
Payment is due either before the ride (via Credit card) or at the beginning of the ride (cash, check or credit card). All rides require a credit card number on file to secure your appointment--rides of 3 or more require a deposit. You must cancel your ride with at least a 24 hour notice or you will be charged full price. "No Shows" will also be charged full price. If ride is canceled due to weather, a full refund or a reschedule time/date will be offered.
All riders should wear long pants and closed toe shoes or boots. We provide approved helmets, and HELMETS ARE MANDATORY FOR ALL RIDERS.
We also offer horseback riding lessons and trail riding lessons for all ages and riding abilities. Some of the other activities found at our barn are horse birthday parties, equestrian weddings, corporate events, and our fabulous horseback riding camp for children.
